Welcome to my world of yarn, knitting and crocheting! I am so glad you took the time to visit.
What started way back in Sweden, during my youth, when my mother taught me how to knit and crochet, became a wonderful hobby in adulthood. It then developed into a small business, with me participating in bazaars as well as being represented in boutiques here in Oregon.
I do all of my work by hand, I find it so inspiring and calming to sit peacefully and create. I use high quality yarn from all over the world and try to work mostly with natural fibers. Most of my creations are my own ideas, or tweaked patterns to fit my needs. I take great pride in my finished products. With the new method of knitting garments in the round, there are hardly any seams to deal with. As a matter of fact, I do not like seams, period, so all my hats, caps and mittens are worked in the round.

I work from my home which is totally smoke free! I don't have any cats or dogs.

It is a wonderful experience to do what you truly love and then find out that others love the result of that labor! I am so grateful to all my customers.

These summer cloches just fly off my crochet hook!
I do love to knit garments and try to find the time between all the hats!
Another style of felted hat
With this natural faux fur yarn, a mix of alpaca & merino wool, another crowd pleaser was born.
My felted hats are by far my most popular creations.

A day without knitting for me, is a day not fully lived!

I have always loved knitting and until I came to America, I thought pretty much everyone could knit. In Sweden you always see people knitting..... in trains, buses and subways as well as getting together in homes for coffee and knitting.

After spending a year in Sweden with my family in the late 80's, I was really fired up on my knitting. Good yarn was so easily available, I think we visited every yarn shop in Stockholm! When we returned to California, I started knitting garments and before I knew it, I was taking orders for hand knit garments. Voila!!! A small business was born out of a hobby and a passion for knitting.

Then came consignments at Marriott Hotel outside Yosemite, a move to Oregon with more selling opportunities at fairs and boutiques and finally my Etsy Shop!

Selling online is a new experience for me but doing it here on Etsy helps a lot because it makes it relatively easy, even for us who did not grow up with computers.

I have moved away from custom orders ( except for different colors or sizes ) and now enjoy knitting and crocheting smaller items, such as hats, caps, scarves, cowls and mittens. My felted hats have been popular for years! Occasionally I get the urge to knit a garment, so you will find some in my Shop.

I pride myself in quality and details. I use high quality yarn, mostly in natural fibers, I pay a lot of attention to detail, so the finished garment will be beautiful and durable and will last for years with proper care. I design most of my creations but sometimes use patterns that I find intriguing and then I usually change them to fit my needs.

When you purchase an item from my shop, you always get the item that is shown in the picture. All my listings are of items I currently have available. I hope our monitors and my photography will represent the colors and the style accurately.
